4. Take the guesswork out of social media by asking your fans directly, “If you ran our Facebook Page, what would you post?” or “What should our next Facebook Exclusive Deal be?
5. Crowd source content and videos by asking users, “What are your favourite drinking quotes, YouTube videos, pickup lines, etc.”
6. Ask fans to tell you if something is true or false.
7. Use Facebook to ask for nominations for your best beer on tap, best entree, etc.

15. Post pictures of your dishes. Use the captions for descriptions, example recipes, cooking tips, where to buy the ingredients.
16. Share any promotional photos or videos on your Facebook Page. Be sure to post images of any fliers or posters as well.

18. Post photos “mystery photos” and ask users to guess what/where they are.

Tell Fans What To Do:
21. Whenever possible, include a call to action in posts. For example, “Like this status if....” or “Tell us why you love our restaurant for a chance to win”.
22. Encourage fans to share photos of themselves at your bar or restaurant. Mention something specific, like “Next time you’re at _______, snap a picture of you and your server and upload it here!”
23. Ask fans to click the “share” button to share your photos or videos on their own wall.
Contest and Deals:
24. Host a scavenger hunt including challenges such as: post a photo to our Facebook Page, tweet a specific hashtag, review us on our Facebook Page, etc.
25. Create friendly competition between Fans by having them compete to answer trivia questions, be the first to comment on a status, etc.

27. Build buzz around a new menu item, nightly special, etc. Post information leading up to the launch, and then be sure to announce the day it is available.
28. Use “Fan Friday” on Facebook to highlight some of your loyal followers.

30. Have a guest host. Have a celebrity, influencer, or your top chef take over your Facebook page for an hour or a day to interact directly with your fans and answer their questions.

32. Post links to relevant or interesting articles, videos, resources.
33. Post the links to your other social media platforms and ask users to connect with you there also.
34. Share “inside scoop”, like little known facts about the industry, your business, etc.
35. Post answers to frequently asked questions.
36. Post drink recipes, cooking tips, etc.
37. Offer daily tips, quotes or fun facts for your Fans.
38. Post knock-knock jokes, riddles, and funny pick-up lines. Encourage Fans to add their own.
39. Tell the first part of a joke, and let your community finish it.
40. Tag other companies in your status updates for increased engagement and cross-promotion
41. Share company info. such as job openings, promotions, milestones, etc.
